Scammers are pivoting to more bold tactics of taking real people's names, likenesses and content and building entire fake websites while having no visible presence on LinkedIn. I asked the three ladies I mentioned earlier about doing this live because scamming isn't just about job seekers.

It's about EVERY SINGLE REAL PROFESSIONAL.

Make no mistake, they will come to you if they haven't already to steal what you've built and love and pervert it to their deceitful ends. Many don't treat this with the seriousness it deserves until it happens to them or they just work through it. Neither option is acceptable. It does not have to be this way. Be angry but turn it into action.
